Set up a trailer

Before you begin
This training uses fictional records in the actual MTR React interface. Your live screen may vary by permissions and setup. The recording explains preparation and review; it does not demonstrate a successful production save or submission.

Create a distinct trailer record
Choose Add Trailer. Enter the trailer unit number and vehicle identity. Keep a trailer record distinct from the truck that may pull it today.

Check ownership and identifiers
Verify the VIN, year, make and model against the supporting records. Confirm the ownership type and the existing owner association where applicable.

Save and maintain the file
Check compliance dates, save the profile and attach the relevant documents. When assignments change, review the new truck and trailer combination rather than assuming the previous pairing still applies.

Validate before committing
Check the selected carrier, record identity, dates, amounts and source documents. Resolve missing information before saving or submitting. In this capture environment, all production writes, uploads and email sending are disabled.
